Do you enjoy watching videos? In this newsletter you will find an exciting collection of videos and information. COMMISSION 9 WORKSHOP IN CROATIA - REGISTER NOW

The FIG Commission 9 Workshop will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, as part of the 8th Croatian Congress on Cadastre with international participation, held 13–16 May 2026. The Workshop will address current developments in real estate valuation and land management, focusing on sustainability challenges, the increasing role of digital valuation tools, and the need for transparency and trust in property markets.

 ARTICLE OF THE MONTH

The article of the month in March 2026 is a peer review paper for FIG Congress 2026 written by Kovilen Reddy, South Africa: Widening Access and Participation in Geomatics Education: Insights from Curriculum Transformation at Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa  The paper examines curriculum reform in geomatics education at Tshwane University of Technology between 2018 and 2025 following national qualification changes. Using a mixed-methods longitudinal case study, it analyses enrolment trends, student progression, and graduate outcomes during the transition to a new qualification framework.
